Fall 1998
Chad Hawk
update submitted: 3-3-06
Current Address:
Ellenton, Florida
chadahawk@yahoo.com
Other info:
Chad currently lives in Ellenton, Florida, which coincidentally is the
winter hometown of David and Jeanne Cleland, Tim's parents. Chad
and his fiance, Whitney Aldridge, plan to be married in July 2007 in
Muncie.
Chad works for Paper Money Guaranty
(PMG) as a Paper Money Grader and Obsolete Specialist. He examines
historical paper money dating back to as early as the 1760s. He
grades the note based on its condition, and the grade gives it a
monetary value on the collectible market. Chad is currently the head of
the Obsolete Department in which he looks at notes printed by
independent banks throughout the US before the Federal Government could
afford to back them. He has looked at more than 50,000 historical
pieces of paper money this year, including rare pieces such as $10,000
bills, Colonial currency printed by Benjamin Franklin himself,
Confederate currency, and more.
Whitney works as a teller at Suntrust Bank. She plans to finish
her college degree at Manatee Community College in Sarasota.
Chad's mother, Becky Gulley, and stepfather, Kent Gulley, live in Sarasota. Becky is an RN and malpractice consultant. Kent is part-owner and operator of Sarasota Rare Coin Gallery.
Chad's father, Tony Hawk, and stepmother, Vicki Hawk, live in Muncie. Tony is a postmaster in Redkey. Vicki is director of customer service at Oxley Softwatr Company.

Curtis Hawk, another DHS Tennis alum, follow the link.
NOTE FROM CHAD:
A big thanks to Tim and the Delta Tennis Program! This
program gives kids the opportunity to learn one of the greatest games
from one of the greatest teachers while taking on so many other great
life lessons at the same time. I'm forever grateful.
