At the present, I am working
on a sheep/cattle ranch in Wy-freaking-oming (colloquial emphasis mine). I've
been out here for a few months now, herding, feeding, trailing, fencing,
scooping, and helping build a log cabin in the mountains for good measure. It's
pretty wide open out here all right, and dry. I stopped out of the Taylor U
Fort Wayne teaching program in the middle of the summer because my efforts to
fully convince myself that I wanted to teach were unsuccessful. I feel that I
made the right decision. The gal in charge of the program disappointedly
informed me that I was the first person to not complete the program. So at
least I've been first at something in my life.
