2007 County Tournament Results  . . .
 

Delta graduates J.D. Greenlee (2005) and Hayley Hall (2007) won the top division championship on Sunday in the annual 2007 Delaware County Tennis Open at the DHS courts.

Greenlee, a junior scholarship tennis player at the University of Indianapolis, defeated current DHS senior Zach Ervin, 7-6, 5-7, 13-11 in the Men's A Singles final.

Hall, a freshman scholarship player at Ball State University, defeated 2004 DHS graduate Kelsey Atkins, 6-2, 6-1 in the Women's A Singles final.

Ervin and Hall teamed up to win the Mixed A Doubles division with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Mike Keller and Chelsea Carter.

In Men's A Doubles, DHS coach Tim Cleland and former DHS player Patrick Bryan combined to beat current seniors Dan Klingenberg and Jeff Price, 7-5, 6-1.

In Women's A Doubles, the final match saw Burris grad Amy Berhman and Yorktown grad Allison Earhart beat Heritage Hall grad Julie Wegener and DHS junior Kelly Crider, 6-2, 6-3.

In Women's B Doubles, DHS seniors Ashley Philhower and Brooke Mochal were champions. They won in three sets over Lisa Niccum and Amy Jones.

In Women's B Singles, Tammy Knox defeated 2007 DHS grad Brittany Teagle, 7-6, 6-1.

In Parent Child A Doubles, the Wegeners (Jim and Jon) beat the Greenlees (David and JD) in the final match.

In Century Doubles, Tim Cleland and Bill Peckinpaugh defeated Marv Clevenger and Aaron Manning, 6-1, 6-4.

In Men's B Singles, Brian Hathaway won a three-set final match over Greg Niccum.  In Men's B Doubles, Niccum teamed with Lonnie Lindsey to beat Bill Peckinpaugh and Mike Painter, 6-3, 6-0.

In Mixed B Doubles, DHS assistant coach Craig Vickery and his wife, Amy, won the title with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Yorktown players Spencer Matheny and Allison Earhart.

In Parent-Child B Doubles, the Lattimers (John and Josh) defeated the Wafers (Don and Devyn) 2-2 retired due to injury.
