DHS TENNIS MAKES THE TV NEWS
DURING INDY 500 FUND-RAISER:
It was a long, hot, tough day, but DHS Tennis (with help from
DHS Softball) earned $4,200 by cleaning
up after the Indy 500 race. The cleanup was on Memorial Day.
The large race attendance and hot temperatures combined to result in
heaping amounts of trash, which made the clean-up much more difficult
than in the past. WTHR-TV Channel 13 in Indianapolis interviewed several members of the group.
